Our Mission

Our Team
Dr. Sudeep Punia
Founder & Medical Director
Dr. Sudeep Punia, M.D., has been practicing in the valley for over 20 years and is the founder of the West Valley Care Family of Businesses. He graduated from Punjabi University as his M.D. He emigrated to Detroit, Michigan in 1980 where he did his residency at Detroit Macomb Hospital Corporation for general surgery. He then completed a residency at Bon Secours in Grosse Pointe, Michigan for Internal Medicine. He moved to the Valley in 1991 and worked for the Cigna Health Care systems before setting up West Valley Internal Medicine in 1992. He was voted Lifecare Centers of America medical director of the year for the Southwest region in 1999.
In 2006, Dr. Punia opened Abloom Medical Spa due to his passion not only to help people feel better, but to feel more confident about themselves and to compliment his background in surgery. Dr. Punia’s main interests lie in Injectables (botox, juvederm), Smartlipo Triplex Laser Body Contouring, and Non-Surgical Facelifts.
He is certified by the National Society of Cosmetic Surgeons. He has been personally trained in California by Dr. Mulholland and Dr. Bitter, two of the originators of combining intense pulse light with radio frequency, which produces an effective and virtually pain-free laser hair removal system. He has also been personally trained by Dr. Johnson, a leader in training and aesthetic services in Smartlipo Triplex. Dr. Punia combines the artistic hand of a surgeon with the comprehensive knowledge of internal medicine doctor to provide patients with an effective and safe procedure.
